THEO (Exercise THErapy assistant dOgs) is an educational videogame developed within the Erasmus+ Sport project 101185240.
The game transforms research and children’s feedback into an engaging digital experience that promotes:
Healthy daily routines
Physical activity with dogs
Emotional wellbeing
Education for animal welfare
THEO encourages families, children and young people to understand the benefits of exercising together with their dogs in a fun and interactive way.
THEO was created to:

Strengthen the human–dog bond
Raise awareness about responsible pet care
Support emotional and physical wellbeing
The game is part of a wider European initiative aiming to foster healthier lifestyles through sport and animal-assisted physical activity.
The videogame was developed under Work Package 2 of the THEO project.
Children and adolescents from several partner countries contributed ideas and feedback that were transformed into gameplay elements, ensuring that the game is:
