THEO Project Kick-Off Meeting in Málaga

The THEO – Exercise Therapy Assistance Dogs project officially started with a successful Kick-Off Meeting held in Málaga, Spain. All project partners came together to align objectives, share expertise, and lay the groundwork for a collaborative and impactful Erasmus+ Sport initiative.

During the meeting, each partner presented their organization and role within the project, fostering a shared understanding of the multidisciplinary team behind THEO. Key project deliverables and activities were also discussed, including the development of an educational eBook, an interactive video game, and practical, hands-on activities involving assistance dogs.

A central focus of the meeting was reinforcing the common vision of THEO: promoting exercise therapy and physical activity through the unique support of trained assistance dogs. The discussions highlighted the strong commitment of all partners to innovation, inclusion, and collaboration.

This Kick-Off Meeting marked an important first step in the project’s journey. Over the coming months, THEO will move from planning to action, delivering tools and experiences designed to make exercise therapy more accessible and engaging.
